Why, oh, why would I go out of my way to meet a person of thickly smeared absence of personality, and dull, tedious, and powdered lifestyle? Life is too short to create heroi-comical mishaps dealing with minuscule people. Look, french romances are only french (well, perhaps italian) romances because the personalities are vibrant and possessed enough to take the risks to love without knowing and die together without reason. That's why some people are absolutely incapable of having french romances (amorous sigh). This is how protected lifestyles that beget neither interesting stories nor ambigious experiences are born.
